Listing suspended

I’ve listed a product which is a genuine Apple product and eBay have suspended it as they say it’s a fraudulent item?

Apple are hot reporting private sellers with multiples of new Apple items.

Read VeRo at bottom of page.

Do not relist, ebay may suspend your account permanently.

Re: Listing suspended

Thanks for your fast response!
So if it’s a genuine apple item bought from the factory which manufactures
and supplies to apple
( the apple product number and serial number is on the case ) eBay will
still ban the item? Other sellers have the same item listed so why aren’t
theirs banned too?

It could be that they are properly registered business sellers who are authorised to sell by the company.

Re: Listing suspended

Your items were reported

Others not yet.

As I said, biggest issue is you being a private seller, Apple monitor ebay listings.

A problem is that when its seen that a private seller is holding stocks of and selling brand new items doubt is cast as to the genuineness of items.

Re: Listing suspended

Hi
So would you suggest a re-wording by me of the description, although I’ve
not stated they are Apple products only that the are “air pods”! Maybe I
should call them ear buds?

Many thanks

You would need to add the make somewhere if not in the title,  then in description or item specifics.

Your item as said in above posts,  was spotted and reported , so it would be unwise to relist it in any form, you may receive stronger selling sanctions, or even a ban.
