Item taking a while to dispatch

I bought ink cartridge for my printer that I need for early Friday morning. I bought on Sunday and I decided to not pay extra as if the seller had dispatched on Monday or Tuesday it would have arrived on Thursday or earlier , fast forward to today it's still not been dispatched meaning it would come Friday-Saturday which is too late for me. I found another seller who is offering the same item for cheaper and Evri next day. Would I be eligible to cancel my first order as it's going to come too late for me and if I want it earlier I would have to pay way more than the other seller. What should I do?

What's the delivery date on your order confirmation email?

Once this date is past you can open a claim for item not received and return to seller when it arrives

I need for Friday morning there's no point of it coming late and then to return when I can cancel the order as he's not dispatched it yet. Estimated in on Thursday but by the looks of it it's coming Friday-Saturday (using the normal yodel service)  I need it for early hours of Friday 5am

You can only request a cancellation,the seller has to agree to it.

If the estimated day is Thursday and it doesn't arrive then you can return it,eBay delivery dates are only estimates and not guaranteed

Not all sellers mark as posted, so it may still arrive.

Just because seller uses a next day delivery service, does not mean it is posted day after payment.

You must check estimated delivery date.
