Item received by buyer but still showing dispatched (pending delivery)

Hi. So,I sent an item tracked delivery the buyer wasn’t home when Royal Mail tried to deliver it,

he requested to have it sent to another location (I assume a local post office)

I have confirmed with the buyer that he has picked the item up but it’s still showing as dispatched and delivery pending on my end.

any help would be appreciated as eBay won’t release the funds until it’s showing as delivered. Many thanks.

If you sent to an address different to the one on ebay the tracking will never update.   But the money will be released after 14 days anyway, as if you sent untracked.

If the items shows as delivered/collected on the royal mail website then ebay can release the payment for you if you conatc them,otherwise payment will take 14 dasy to be released.

Feedback being left does not release payment in cases of tracked  postal options,only for low value items orders at £10 or under, with no tracking feedback can release payments after 2 days when left
