Item not received but eBay refusing to refund

Hi all...I really need help.

I ordered iPhone 17 Pro max..it popped as delivered on my phone although it was not.. royal mail proof of delivery photo shows item squeezed in red door mail box but my door is very different and dark green! 

And I have got 24/7  CCTV at entrance.. despite all the evidence it was not at my address, eBay decided based on wrong tracking instead of photo proof that shows it's not my door !

How do I manage to get my money back... could anyone help please?! 

I am really disappointed in eBay and I am even thinking of not ordering through them anymore. This all thing looks like a scam !

The only evidence ebay will accept is something in writing from RM saying that the address they delivered to was not yours. 

You need to give them your address and then say they that was not where it was delivered (for whatever reason), they won't tell you where it was delivered.

That looks like very poor packaging for an iPhone 17 pro Max, I'd also question why somebody would be selling that.

Did you buy that from a reputable registered business seller?

That same day,I confronted the postman who still on the estate...he agreed
he made a mistake..said he would go back check all previous deliveries and
come back to me but he didn't !
So clearly,I now need to get in touch with royal mail and have them
recognise in writing that they made a mistake ?!
Is that possible or feasible at all ?

Thanks for your reply.
I ordered cause eBay put the mention " guaranteed money back if item not
delivered" so I supposed they had some trust in the seller.
I've been using eBay since 2021 and this is a first!
There are lots of iPhones on eBay... unwanted gift or even no more wanted
purchases..etc .
My trust was in eBay more than the seller ..

Only asking because there is a scam with these whereby the seller sends a bit of old rubbish to a nearby address.

I will complain to my bank and see if they can get money back.
eBay should change their policy whereby tracking is proof cause different
house numbers in same post code could give same tracking.
I have 24/7 CCTV at my entrance..so all the evidence postman never came to
drop parcel.
One way or another eBay and that seller will pay my money back.
I will never give up on hardly earned money.
