Item delivered refused collection

I went to collect a item yesterday which has been delivered to a local collection point but was refused it as I don't have a qr code and code. Tracking number states if was drop off on Saturday. I have messaged the seller who told me to message ebay. Was hoping to speak to someone directly. Any ideas?

Sounds like the seller may not have put the eCP code on the package, when it arrives at the collection point it generates a collection code for the buyer.
