You don't need to speak to Ebay.  Start a return case.

If the seller wants the item back, they will have to provide a label and then refund in full when you return the item.  Read how the Money Back Guarantee works.

Start a return here:

Open a return request

To request a return, select the item you want to send back from your recent purchases above, or use the button below. You can also start a return request from your Purchases in My eBay.

Start a return - opens in new window or tab

Thank you for your response, I’ll do that.
I didn’t pay by PayPal so I don’t have the money back guarantee, also
wondering why eBay allow this to happen, surely they take this seriously

They will take it seriously but only if you use the Money Back Guarantee and open a return case.

If sellers have a lot of buyers complining that items are not as described in the listing, Ebay will take action against bad sellers.

A single complaint, especially if you choose not to return your item, will have little impact.

You can also leave negative feedback but keep it brief and factual.

As long as you received the item less than 30 days ago, it doesn't matter how you paid.
