Item collected but didn’t get qr code to say collected

Item collected but forgot to get qr code. Buyer happy with item. 2 months later eBay still telling me to have item collected. The message is annoying! Will it eventually disappear?

Yes,  it will eventually disappear,  I'm presuming your payout for the collected item has reached your bank account?  With no code entered / scanned,  it can be held for a few weeks.

Hi yes received my payout. The item sold in November but as no qr code on collection, eBay is still telling me to arrange collection we are now in January . It’s annoying to keep seeing this message

Well if you had used the system, ebay would not be annoying you.

As far as they are concerned it was never collected, it is up to sellers using “collections” to understand and use the  correct procedure.
