Is this the correct action to take on eBay?

Hello everyone, I just had a very interesting experience with a seller on this app. I bought two iPads from this seller, which were listed with the description "Minor Fault". However, when I received both of them, I discovered that they had more issues than expected.

One iPad was still usable, but the other had a fault described as "LCD line + flicker". After testing it, I suspect it could be related to slight damage to the motherboard or a graphics card connection issue. I returned that iPad on the same day I received it.

I requested a refund and included the reason along with the return details in my message. However, instead of addressing my request professionally, they ultimately banned me from making any further purchases. Additionally, they haven't answered any of my questions. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, or should I leave a negative review for this seller?

Thank you for your time to read this.

Contact eBay about it.   You can ring them or request they ring you by viewing this link on your phone - not on a laptop or PC:

Good luck.

Re: Is this the correct action to take on eBay?

Why didn’t you use the ebay 30 day money back guarantee and get a refund. Seller would even have had to pay for return label

Doing it your way outside ebay will not get anything.

Thank you for your response.

I didn't know that. Is it the right thing to do? Since the iPad isn't working anyway, what is the point of keeping it longer?

Re: Is this the correct action to take on eBay?

Hello everyone, I just had a very bad experience with this problem. I bought this iPad from a seller, and it arrived with more faults than described. I returned it the same day, only about 2 hours after I received it, and I made sure to send it back in the original packaging. However, they have refunded only half of my money, claiming that the seller deducted from the item price because it wasn't returned in its original condition. This is clearly a lie. Additionally, in their comment, they stated, "This spares and repairs item has been altered; we are unable to accept back broken spares and repair items." This contradicts itself, as they updated the item again with the same image and noted the fault that was present when I purchased it. Can anyone please help me? Thank you.
