Is the seller telling the truth or does he regret getting only a small amount of money and lying?

I have purchased from eBay without problems even this week.

HIM: Hi eBay postage says no service available, incorrect address or details, will cancelled the order. Thanks

This seller is using the Simple Delivery programme to post this item. For postage related questions including lost or damaged in transit, please contact eBay’s Customer Service or file a claim by clicking on the purchase history section from My eBay menu.

ME: I do not want this order cancelled.

HIM: Tried the ebay delivery again, no service available, not going to keep wasting time messaging for £5.50 so best to cancel order

There is an intermittent bug to do with addresses.   eBay say a delivery address must not exceed 39 characters including spaces on any line.   Even if your address doesn't exceed that try moving just the road name to the second line and saving as a "new address".
