Import duty charges unforseen

Hi I purchased three roller blinds from a company in poland and fed ex delivered the blinds I paid for the blinds but no mention was made about zero vat and extra charges, now fed ex are invoicing me fo £59 what can be done

You are the importer so are responsible for paying these costs.

FedEx are only carrier to deliver goods and send invoice later.

Most carriers won't deliver item until fees are paid.

If you don't pay, expect FedEx to pass debt to collection agents.

What if the seller never informed me about this and if I send back for refund am I still liable

It's not the sellers responsibility to inform you,

They won't know you are In UK until you pay.

If you check under postage on listing, ebay put up a warning.
