If a buyer wants two individual lots finishing on different days

I have not sold on Ebay for a while, a buyer has bid on a 'Buy now' item BUT wants to wait till another item on auction completes in 4 days time in case they win. Ebay says I need to post the first item by Tuesday but in the past you could send one payment request to the buyer and alter postage - but how is that done now? Ebay say they have payment from the buyer but its on hold till they confirm delivery? This buyer also asked if I could drop the price on this first item by a pound (so instead of £5 - £4) BUT if Ebay already taken their money  is it possible to alter the total amount or has the buyer got to pay in 2 parts and I have no control over the packaging together  and one postage?   I have searched for how to deal with this but can't see any useful advice and the autochat thing didn't help much.

Is it the hardback saint books you have on auction they wish to buy?  They haven't placed a bid yet , Is £4 the price you are happy to sell the items for?  Then, just revise the item to add a Buy it Now Price,  or change the auction to a Buy it Now format and adjust the price if necessary.

They can buy the item immediately, and you can send them a revised invoice with a combined postage if you are happy  to post the items together.

To send a revised invoice with a combined postage,  go right of the item sold to More Actions, and select Send payment Details,  all item will appear on the one invoice.  Amend the postage there to that required,  but do not click on reset.  Check it is correct,  and send .

If you are on the Seller Hub,  you click on the item in Orders >>  Awaiting Payment,  then top left you will see send Invoice,  follow the above instructions.

You will need a laptop / PC and not the app or mobile browser to manage the above.  Chrome works well with eBay.
