Idiotic Loop

I have a 20 year old account in eBay, then I decided to enter and sell one old thing that I have in home, all was ok till I was not able to receive the payment.

My payments are on hold, and you not allow me to retire the payments giving me an alternative method of payment, as my old account is european and you request me an spanish bank account.

Is the 7th time I complaint an alternative method of payment, as is impossible to create or generate an spanish bank account living in the UK.

I think is more easy to convert sausage rolls in gold, than to ask me for an european account living in the UK.  As you understand I cannot go to any bank in the United Kingdom and ask for an spanish bank account, or I cannot give have an utility bill of Madrid if I live in London...

So why is so hard to understand that the ebay clauses in payment methods are old and icompatible with the current requirements of banks and locations. Ebay cannot ask me for an european bank account, if is impossible to create it. I'm weeks in the same loop, and still they don't understand that they need to provide an alternative payment method or transfer the funds in any different way...

Ebay cannot give an impossible reply, if an impossible reply is not a solution, is just ridiculous.

You account is registered in Spain.

If you are now in the UK, you need to open a new UK ebay account, you can't transfer it from Spain.

You will need to a different email address.

I think you have underestimated the complications involved in trying to sell on an account registered in Spain while living in the UK.

For one thing, you are still registered in Spain so VAT is now liable to be payable by buyers in the UK, even if the item itself is located in the UK. If you wished to continue using ebay.es you would also have to provide a bank account denominated in Euros for payments and refunds. It wouldn't be feasible for ebay.es to apply currency conversions to all transactions.

The reality is that if you plan to resume selling on eBay and are now resident in the UK the only practical way is to open a new account with ebay.co.uk. (I thought that at one time there was a facility to relocate an account, but I suspect this was either imagination or it no longer exists.)

Re: Idiotic Loop

This is was previously done by the UK team, so they wanted to transfer
the funds.
But for any reason one time the complaint is sent to the Spanish team,
they reply
me with a template to add the bank account, and I don't have any form to
contact again.
So I need to do the complaint again, is the 7th time that I reopen the
case to get
the correct funds, as is impossible to add the bank account requested.

Re: Idiotic Loop

Is not about that, is a sell made by error thinking that the account
don't have any limitations,
as the eBay clauses changed during the time, also bank accounts.

So I asked for an alternative method of payment and they fail to provide
it, the big problem is made
by the eBay Spain team as they don't want to solve it, and the UK team
rely on the reply of Spain.

But the causant is eBay UK, as the sell and the transaction was made in
UK, so well, despite originally
is an Spanish account, is eBay UK who need to provide an alternative
method of payment. Instead to rely
on the eBay ES team, as they will not do nothing, they hang the calls to
UK, they sell templates... and they
will never solve nothing, so is UK team who need to transfer funds to
another UK account, or UK bank method.

They should change the clauses, as is a mess to have this problem. If
you are not allowed to use eBay in full with
an account from outside, don't allow it. At the end is causing me
stress, as is not well managed by customer service.
And the Spanish and European team is terrible, they don't do nothing,
only sent templates. It's weird.
I want my funds back!
