I’m looking for some clarity on how eBay handles ad fees when a listing is active in both Promoted Listings Standard (General) and Promoted Listings Advanced (Priority) campaigns simultaneously.
I have multiple listings with variations where both campaign types are running. I am currently using a Dynamic Ad Rate (up to 12%) for my Standard campaigns.
My specific concern is "double-dipping" on fees. If a buyer clicks on my Priority (Advanced/CPC) ad and makes a purchase:
Will I only be charged the Cost-Per-Click (CPC) for that specific visit?
Or, will eBay also apply the 12% Standard Ad Rate on top of the CPC fee for that sale?
I'm trying to understand the attribution logic here so I can manage my margins effectively. If anyone has experience running both campaign types on the same SKUs, I’d love to know how the billing usually shakes out.
