I want to change the postage option offered by ebay

Hi. I am looking to list a number of items but would like to change the postage option offered by ebay. I have tried to find out how I do this via the automatic assistant but it hasn't helped.  Is someone able to help me please? Regards.

You need to tell us what you would like to change.

With Simple Delivery postal services are limited, and  custom postage for exempt items is not currently showing,  due to some long,  long standing issue , but there is a workaround.

As said, explain what you would like to do and we can help you further.

I want to change the postage option offered by ebay

HI

Thank you for your response. I'm wanting to list a designer jumper and
want to send it via Royal Mail, tracked. It used to cost £4.99 to post via
the Royal Mail website and for me to hand it into the post office and get a
receipt which I prefer to do. I've sold a few of them with this postage
hence I would prefer to stick to what I know. Am I able to do this now
please?

Regards

If when you try to list it says (something like) 'Simple Delivery will replace your postage option', then you will have to use Simple Delivery.

However, you can choose only to use Royal Mail.

The service used is Royal Mail Tracked 48 although your buyer will be able to choose a faster service, Tracked 24.

Prices are lower for your buyer but you can't add anything on for packaging, so allow for that in your starting price.

Ebay supply a label, you take the item to the Post Office and get a proof of posting with Tracking Number.

Items are insured up to a value of £750 - better than the standard RM cover of £150 for 48 hour tracked and, if the item should be lost or damaged in transit, Ebay will compensate your buyer.

Details from the link below - follow the links and read the FAQs.
