Hi
I sent an offer to a buyer for a cardigan on 29th for £29 - we were messaging each other at the time and he messaged 'Thanks! sale has gone through' so I assumed payment had been taken automatically because I have my Ebay account do the same if someone accepts my offers.
I logged in just now and was suprised to see it marked as 'unpaid' but the total amount showing £59!! (Please see screenshot).
I am not buying anything else from this buyer apart from the cardigan plus £2.99 postage so can't figure out why there is a different total. It is also sitting in my basket (at the correct price) but until I figure out what is going on in the photo below I'm a bit reluctant to pay in case it takes out £59.
The buyer did tell me that it was relisted due to a previous buyer not paying and I think it might be because the same happened to them, I've sent screenshots to the buyer just to let them know what is going on and I suspect it might be a glitch with the automatic payment when going through the buy it now offer thing - but if anyone has the slightest clue I would be really grateful. 😁 Should I just complete the sale at my end?

Your post is really confusing because most of the time when you put buyer you meant seller!
I don't know why you have different figures but until you go to checkout you won't know how much you will actually be charged. Try that and see what happens. You should be charged £29 plus postage.
Your seller clearly didn't have immediate payments for offers set up or you would have paid already. They have obviously accepted your offer as the item is in your basket and showing as sold.

Papso22 thanks for the reply - 😁
OMG , I did put 'buyer' instead of seller .... twice!! 🙄 (I was half asleep when I wrote that) so that option in settings for immediate payments is an odd thing, is it only there for offers? I'm sure I've seen a setting for it in the listing form for 'Buy it Now'. Is there any disadvantage for having that selected?
I ended up paying at checkout and it looks like it has definitely gone through now but I still don't know why the price hiked itself up to £30 more - very strange.
