Hi. 

I've been using eBay since 2003 and never had any issues buying and selling. 

However,  yesterday I opened a new account to sell my lamps. I  listed 13 lamps and it says that they are active. 

Thing is, I logged into my old account to see if they were, and no, none of my listings can be found, I don't even come up when searching for myself as a seller.

I asked one of my friends to search for a few of my lamps and me as seller but again,  I don't come up. 

Why is that?

You need a Business account to sell your lamps and to add your contact details to the listings so registering correctly etc, eBay Business Accounts | UK Seller Centre

As you stated, this is a brand new account, opened yesterday so your listings will take 24-48 hours to appear on the site.

It is a bit confusing because it says 'your listing is now live' and you should be able to see the items you have listed, but other members will not be able to see them for a day or so.
