I cannot find my listing when searching on someone else's account usinf a key word.

Hi.

Situation is that I have listed an item on my own eBay account - it's a pair of hinges for a particular record deck.  I was then on another eBay account mainly used by my wife, and curiosity got me doing a search for my own listing using the main keyword in the heading - the deck's model number.

Someone else's hinge came up, but not mine!

To clarify, my listing includes the model number - 'Sony PS-LX310BT' - as part of the heading, and my search attempt used only this model info as I wanted everything related to it to appear, and I then sorted in order of cost, with hinges being at the low end. Another listing for hinges duly appeared, but mine didn't. Shouldn't a 'search' for 'Sony PS-LX310BT' return everything with that info in its title? If so, why didn't my listing?

Cheers.

I cannot find my listing when searching on someone else's account usinf a key word.

I can only see a Safety Boat and a lovely Citroen car listed on your account.

It can take up to 48 hours for a listing to appear, especially if you are a new or returning seller, having had a little break from eBay,  or if the site is busy,  which it always is on a weekend.

As long as you can see it in Active Listing,  ( can you ? ),  all is well, it will eventually appear. Even items all listed at the same time, can appear at different times

Do not revise it, as that will send it to the back of the queue again to be indexed before it can be listed.
