I don't believe it's possible to go back to the old, and as everyone would agree better system.

Many are reporting their dislike of this new messaging format,  you are not alone.

Bottom right of my messaging page is a link to leave feedback.

If everyone leaves feedback maybe,  just maybe eBay will listen.

I had switched back to the old version (I am old, don't like change, 'if it ain't broke don't fix it', etc.) but have found that is no longer possible.

The only option, as with lots of things on Ebay, is to accept and adapt I think.
