Hello so frustrated with the contact options with eBay. Purchased an item , couple of days later seller emails saying they have a faulty batch and can’t send it out . I agree to wait a week until we stock comes in , they’ve been fibbing me off saying it’s sent for nearly 2 months , saying they’ll send another out . (This person selling is on Am**zon under a different company name as I had the same “ there’s a faulty batch ect” on there. A few days ago I requested my money back and have had no response . Then the tracking number said delivered , but to somewhere down south not my location . Also said it was delivered on 4th Jan even though the message they sent me telling me if the faulty batch was only sent on the 6 th Jan . Now eBay say I have no protection as it’s over comment days . This is blatant fraud I have the emails and I assume ebay can see them as well repeatedly saying they are going to send it out , have sent it out , going to send another ect. The money isn’t the problem it’s the principle . If it’s not resolved I’ll close my account as I don’t feel safe to shop. Why is eBay nigh on impossible to contact . Any advice appreciated .

When you buy on Ebay you get an email with an estimated delivery date.
One day after the latest estimated delivery date, you can open an Ebay case stating you have not received your item.
You have 30 days to start such a case.
if you allow the seller to repeatedly fob you off and you choose not to use the Ebay Money Back Guarantee, then that is in all honesty, not Ebay's fault.
Try your payment provider (bank, Paypal etc.) and start a chargeback on the grounds you did not receive your item.
Do it today, or you may run out of time to use that option as well.

eBay have a brilliant 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee Policy, but it has strict timelines, that is, you Have to claim for what you are entitled to, a full refund, if you don't receive an item, within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery.
There are some sellers who will fob you off with excuses and promises , but promises cannot be enforced eBay's MBG can, unfortunately, you let that time limit lapse.
Never listen to a stalling seller, open a case follow it to a T escalate if need be , and you're guaranteed that refund.
You cannot turn to eBay now for any help, but your payment provider should be able to help you now with your refund.
