Hi everyone,
an eBayer has sold me an air gun nailer with the description stating it was in good working order. Upon receiving the nailer and connecting to my air compressor it was clear that it could not work as the air seals inside the nail gun were completely corroded and the main air seal completely in pieces. A local pneumatic specialist confirmed this and the necessary seals including postage came to £10.74. I contacted the seller and told them the nailer is faulty and asked them to confirm if they wished me to post it back to them for a refund or for them to pay to replace the seals.
It has been 4 days now and I have had no response. The original posting stated 'no returns' however it was also listed as 'good working order' which it wasn't.
If anyone could anyone advise me what I should do I would be very appreciative, thank you.

Just read and use eBay's money back guarantee. There is a link to it in every qualifying listing, or see: https://pages.ebay.co.uk/ebay-money-back-guarantee/
It's all very simple and you don't need to negotiate with seller. Just open an "item not as described" case and wait three working days for the seller to respond. After this, the option will appear to escalate the case if necessary for eBay to step in to enforce a refund. If the seller wants the item back they will be required to send you a prepaid return label (if the item was in the UK).
A case MUST opened within 30 days of the delivery date. Just read and follow the process - if there's anything you're not sure about people here are always willing to help.
p.s. first check the listing to make sure that your pneumatic gun nailer is covered. Some industrial tools are not. Hopefully you will find the "Shop with confidence" reference to the MBG on the right, below the postage and payments details.
