Faulty item

Bought item with fault which listing said was not there. Fault was not visible on collection of very dirty 50 year old item,but after half a day cleaning it fault was visible. It cost me £25 in coach fares and almost a whole day to collect the item. What is my recourse.

You can open an eBay item not as described claim in order to get a refund for the item, but your travel costs and time won't be refundable.
