Faulty Battery

Bought a cordless chainsaw with two batteries but one of the batteries is dead. Saw works fine with other battery. Seller is asking me for a video of faulty battery but can't load video as too large. ? Is there a way of loading videos can only seem to load pictures up.

You do not need to send the seller any video,  and be aware,  this can also be a delaying tactic,  as you only have 30 days from the item's last estimated date for delivery,  to claim a full refund under eBay's 30 day MBG policy.

Are you within that 30 day limit?  Then, listen no more what the seller requires,  but proceed this way:

Go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select... Return this item selecting the reason Item Does Not Match Description or Photos.

The seller needs to accept this case within 3 days and refund,  if they want their item back first , they need to pay for that fully tracked return postage, then on receipt of their item they have 48 hours to refund you.  If they don't ,  need to escalate the case,  ask eBay to step in, and they'll force the refund.

Never listen to any excuse or promise from the seller to close the case early,  and do not forget to escalate.

Thx don't really want to return it as works fine. Would just like a replacement battery. Only just recieved so plenty of time yet.

Then,  that will be between you and the seller trying to work out the solution,  and perhaps for them to send you a battery that works.  eBay cannot enforce a partial refund,  or make the seller send  a replacement part.

You have to trust the seller's honesty if you wish to go ahead, you could  send that video and hope they send a replacement battery.

As said, eBay can only enforce a full refund,  and only if you send the item back first, if this is the seller's request,  I would think that would be a ' yes' here for that item.
