Fake toy

Hi all.

I received a item that turned out to be fake so returned by tracked delivery, when item was received by seller they said I would get a refund by 31st December not the 3 days Ebay recommended. I have not received a refund or postage paid and now Ebay have closed the case becouse they say they can see my item not been sent back, but the tracking shows it's been sent! I can't get any further as to contact anyone. Following instructions but just going round in circles.  I have not been able to ask Ebay to step in and help as that option is not showing!

So frustrating!

Re: Fake toy

If case is closed too late to do anything now.

If you paid return postage WHY? Seller should provide a return label if you opened the correct case, and whatever case you opened, it is up to you to escalate within the 30 days. Doing nothing and I am sure ebay told what and when, is not the way to get a refund.

Refunds go back to source, and time taken depends on your method of payment, paypal quick, debit card around 7 days credit card up to 30 days. Ebay’s estimate of 3 days, is very inreliable.

Re: Fake toy

I sent it back to a address the seller sent me all within the ti.e limit and tracked, ebay give me a time limit yes but the seller didn't like Ebay getting involved and wouldn't correspond with me. And I couldn't correspond with Ebay as I think the seller has been dodgy from the start, told me he would give  me a refund once he received it and by the 31st which is when the time limit was upSent from my Galaxy

Learn from this event.

Always open ebay case, it benefits both buyer and seller.
