Failed delivery attempts but I haven't received the returned parcel.

Hi, I recently sold an item, unfortunately the buyer missed the 3 delivery attempts made by evri and as far as I am aware it is being sent back to me. It has been well over a week and I still haven't received the parcel. There doesn't seem to be any tracking info for me to see(coming my way) other than the 3 failed delivery attempts and a message that the buyer should contact myself if they still want the item.

I'm not sure how the postage works on ebay...do I contact evri or does the buyer?. 

Also the buyer has said he would like to pay and have it posted out again once I receive it. I would like to keep all transactions on ebay, can anyone tell me how I can do this?.

I have never used Evri to post an item,  but understand they're not the easiest of Companies to receive information how to proceed with matters.

If you are happy to sell the item to this buyer again, personally I don't think I would,  if they have already missed 3 delivery attempts,  then you do have to wait for the item to be returned before relisting on eBay again.

When a delivery attempt fails for Royal Mail I know they keep an item 18 days before sending back to the sender,  you could ask Evri if they do something similar.
