Does anyone know what the situation is with Evri at the minute as they have not collected from my local shop for 5 days and now they aren't accepting any further parcels. I tried another shop and exactly the same and I believe this is an issue up and down the country. I was told by the shop keeper that Evri had a driver shortage but surely this can't be the case everywhere all of a sudden at the same time. My concern is Ebay have introduced the Simple delivery (which it is anything but) and they use Evri as their main courier, yet if my buyers open a case as item not received I believe they will be entitled to a refund but then what happens to the item when they finally do receive it? This is all very unfair when the issue is with the delivery company that Ebay now choose as their preferred courier with this simple delivery and yet Ebay who i'm sure are aware of this issue don't seem to be addressing this problem at all. Has anyone else had any issues or know what on earth is going on with Evri.
