Ebay is over charging, i won an item for £208 there is no extra charges or postage, i have spoken to the seller and they agree it's £208 owed, but Ebay keeps asking for £220, that was my maximum bid not my winning bid.
You should see the breakdown of how £220 is made up, as purchase price of £208 the buyer protection at 4% plus 10p equals £8.32 plus 10p ( which for some reason is charged as 8p). Makes total £216. 42 (or 40)
Sorry it is 7% on first £20 so that adds another 60p, £217.
I noticed ebay has done a big advertising campaign about no more charges for selling items on ebay, but i didn't notice in the advertising anywhere saying they're passing the charges to the buyer... Absolute rip off
