Now Ebay is trying to kill off all the buyers (by adding a barely visible surcharge to every price) and starve out all the sellers (by withholding the money for about two weeks from all sales, should there ever be any sales).
My rent is due tomorrow (1st March). I can't pay it, though I have sold some things.
Money may reach my account on 9th or 13th of March. Or not. Remember the day when buyers used to send a cheque in the post? (And then it was hit-or-miss whether there was any cash behind it.)
Bad enough to live in an unheated house in winter but to be kicked out of one for late- or non-payment of rent.
Bankruptcy and eviction combined. Ebay should really kick out the plug that keeps its power supply running.
I'm sorry I found Ebay 20 years ago. It's been a spin but so what.

Personal problems aside, I stand by my first sentence. "Now Ebay is trying to kill off all the buyers (by adding a barely visible surcharge to every price) and starve out all the sellers (by withholding the money for about two weeks from all sales, should there ever be any sales)."

As you send items as a parcel with RM, if you upload the 16 digit tracking number (doorstep delivery code) when you post, your payment will be released 48 hours after tracking shows delivery.
Prices have increased but sellers no longer pay fees and may have to reduce their prices to stay competitive.
