Ebay collection code

I have just bought an item of Ebay. I paid for it via Paypal and collected the item a couple of days ago. Now the seller has asked for a "collection code". Where would I look for this code? Is it sent to me from Ebay?

It is emailed to you by ebay when you buy an item listed for collection.  I think it is also provided in the app, if you use it.

As a seller I would not release an item without that code.

Check your emails (and your spam folder), your eBay messages and the order details. If this is a collection only item there should be a 6 digit code for you to give to your seller.
