EBay seem incapable of linking my bank account, even though I log into my bank & approve ???

Hi. very frustrating. It says in RED that they need me to link my bank account to receive payouts. Of course I do, so it say log into your bank from Ebay, which I've done on about 5 attempts now.  My bank asks me to approve on my app, which I do, all looks great until it says NO, couldn't verify your bank. Any ideas please as it's driving me mad. Thanks in advance.

You say you've linked your bank account 5 times?  Each time you do this,  it sets back the time  and prolongs the time to verify those details,   which once entered,  can take around a week.

Do not use the app if you need to provide any more information to eBay but use if you can,  a laptop / PC and try Chrome,  that seems to work well with eBay.

Have you followed procedure shown here. Verification is not instant and takes several days.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792&st=3&pos=2&query=Registe...

One other thing, bank account has to be in your name exactly as registered with ebay, just mentioned this in case that is the problem..

That's great info, thank you. I am on a PC and seem to be succeeding until it fails at the last hurdle. The sad part is that it offers zero reasons as to why, it makes it look like it's my bank that's at fault but they seem to be authorising it. hey ho, I'll muddle on. Much appreciated, thanks again.

Thanks for replying. Yes, been there and done that. I might try the micro-deposit route but it's not given me that option so far. I'll see what I can find. Thanks again.

Sending 2 micro deposits is the usual route for account verification.  Contact Customer Services to send 2 micro deposits,  and it can take around 5 days for them to appear,  they are small only a few pence each easily missed, and they do suddenly appear, keep checking your nominated bank account.

I strongly recommend contacting CS very first thing on s weekday morning at 8 a.m. when the lines open for 'live agents'  as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays

9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.

Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
