Does anyone know how to resolve the ‘contact seller’ issue where cannot send a message?

I have seen that this is an issue where you click on the contact seller button but the question box does not appear and another pop up of the advert appears instead.  I hasve seen that other have had this problem but cannot see how they resolved the issue

Are you making a general enquiry about a listing?

Some sellers don't accept questions, the assumption being that all of the information they have about the item they've listed is in the actual listing.
