Dodgy seller

Offer accepted for some jordans money left account, seller immediately messages saying hi mate ebay is taking £50 of fees please could I cancel the order and you can buy from vinted. I realised he must be dodgy so I thought ill go ahead he says he can't cancel and told me do it which I did and it's awaiting his response but he says that he has to wait for ebay and that he's accepted but he hasn't. I checked his negative feedback and he did the exact same thing to 2 other people. I need help what shall I do

The seller is perfectly able to cancel without Ebay's assistance, but if he doesn't you will need to make a claim for item not received the day after the expected delivery date.   That will get you your refund.

 

In one way he is right, the offer you made will include the buyer protection fee which you pay to ebay, so he will get £50 less than the offer he accepted.  This may have come as a nasty surprise.
