Discrepancy in listing prices

When I look at an auction listing I see the current price, when I click on bids the top price is different, Why?!?

I think I understand the differences in price - the difference appears to be the buyer protection fee.

I have a number of draft listings waiting to be finalised,  the drafts were initiated before 4th February. If I complete the drafts and make them live over the next few days, will these listings attract a buyer protection fee?

Ebay is supposed to be introducing this gradually, but it sounds as though the usual glitches  have appeared.

One day they will get something to work properly. I t might help if they sorted out old problems, before continually making changes.
