Delivery change

Hi

ive solda very large item . Decided to deliver personally instead of using Evri as stated on the order . I’m confused what the process is ?

The issue for you as the seller is that you won't have any proof of delivery.

You could cancel the sale and relist as 'collection only'.

That way, you could deliver it but the buyer would have a collection code to give you.

Otherwise, if you are happy to deliver, you will have to wait for payment, particularly as you are an infrequent seller.

Personal deliveries should be treated the same as buyer collections so it would have been better to cancel and relist as collection for buyer to buy again.

As it is you don't have a collection code to prove they have the item.  All you can do is open the unused label and that will mark the item as dispatched.

Thanks - if I cancel and relist presume I’d have to wait for buyer to be
refunded and re purchase.

If I just deliver is there anything I can get as evidence for eBay for
payment?

Yes you will have to refund and the buyer pays again.

There is nothing other than the collection code, or online tracking that ebay accepts as proof of 'delivery'.
