Delete account - hopeless customer 'support'

I am trying to delete my account (I have finally given up on eBay) but I cannot because I have an item which I wanted to sell which I cannot delete. Any ideas?

I cannot see any items listed,  have you successfully deleted the item?

If you have had recent sales,  you can start the closure of your account,  but it will not fully close for a few months,  as it would have to stay open in case of any refunds to be made.

It's no issue,  just leave it,  do not use it, and it will close when the time is right.
