Damages

I sold an item and sent it Royal Mail through EBay simple delivery. The item was received by the buyer smashed to bits. They have now sent a returns request. I don’t think this is the right action as there is no point returning it to me. Please advise

If buyer opened damaged in transit case, ebay refund.

If they opened not as described case, you can refund without return.
