Hi All, I need some help, I have found out today, that the item I purchased in May 2023 is actually a counterfeit item, the listing doesn’t appear to inform me of this and it was actually listed as a genuine. - When I go to report it the order number isnt getting accepted, do you know what is the best way to go about this? and is there any chance of a refund after this amount of time! - I have only established it is a fake because I took it to a genuine shop to get the battery changed!!
Thank you in advance.

After 20 months I doubt you can report to anyone.

Too late to take any action under eBay's 30 day Money Back Guarantee or indeed your Bank/Card issuer.

Counterfeits are not allowed to be sold, so no seller is going to describe as Counterfeit, but you only have 30 days from delivery to get a refund through ebay.

Sorry, after 2 and a half years, you cannot claim from eBay ( 30 day time frame for claiming) or your payment provider, usually a 120 day claim period.
Harsh lesson to learn, but always wise if an item hasn't gone through eBay's authentication , to get the authenticity checked on receipt, then you'll have eBay's 30 day cover for a full refund ,if receiving a counterfeit item.
