What other ID have you tried to upload?

Other members have been successful when they have sent a scan of their original birth certificate to confirm their name, and a recent official letter or bill with their full name and address on - so a bank statement, a letter from HMRC or DWP, a credit card bill etc.  The name on the birth certificate and the other document would need to match.

Over time, Ebay ask all members, new and long standing to prove their identity.

If you want to speak to Ebay again to confirm exactly what they will accept, use the link below to get a callback.

Usually, if you ask for a callback early in the morning you will be speaking to an agent from Dublin who seem to be the most helpful.

One member said other documents need to have all four corners visible in the scan and then it worked.
