Circular saw and bladed item uk ban. Please explain how this is a dangerous weapon?

Can a machine be listed that is called a circular saw with no 'blade' The blade can only cut when connected to a p;ower supply. why do ebay think it is a weapon?

I suppose someone could remove the blade to use if that's all they could get their hands on,  but the thing is it's easier to have blanket blocks on bladed items than it is differentiate between a vast number of products.

Ebay said they reviewed but I guess it's AI! The circular blade is not as dangerous as a snooker ball! The saw machine is not dangerous. the word saw does not mean it is a blade. the machine has to be connected to a power source. people have been stabbed with pencils! I assume one can buy and sell pencils?
