Does anyone have any advice on how to get EBay to remove a £2000 + charge from when my account was hacked. EBay have acknowledged that it was flagged up and my account was suspended at the time. I was told it would be sorted but weeks later and 3 frustrating phone calls to EBay later I can’t seem to get anyone to sort this. They have tried to take the amount from my bank account but fortunately it bounced. I’ve now had to move money into a savings account so they can’t take it and I’ve removed card details from my eBay account. I’m considering closing my account but worried this debt will be on my credit score and will escalate. Any advice would be appreciated!

We have seen this question before but no-one ever tells us what happened!
You have to sort this with ebay and we can't influence that, but for that amount I would be asking a solicitor for advice, or at least citizen's advice to start with.
Ebay does pass debts to collection agencies and they do affect your credit score.
