Hi, I sold an item to a cash buyer who turned up at my door the same time someone paid a buy it now price. The buy it now funds are on hold so I cannot refund them and I can only seem to get through to a bot who is not helping. Can anyone advise who I can get the money back to the buyer?
you honour the transaction for the buyer who purchased via BIN.
You are not allowed to accept cash payments and if another member purchased via BIN then you were/are completing an off eBay sale with your cash 'buyer'.
Obviously I cannot honour the transaction when I have already sold the item not knowing a cash buyer is not allowed. My question was how do I get a refund back to the buyer when eBay has the funds held. Sorted know but your response was completely unhelpful.
