Cancelling bids

Hi all. I have a bid the bidder wants me to cancel. I've asked them to cancel but they haven't. I can't do it via the app as my choices of bidder are null and null . Their bid is spoiling the auction due to their high bid. I'm stuck with what to do. Any suggestions?

Some things are just not available on the app,  perhaps this is another,  sorry I don't use that device,  too limited in its functions for me.

Switch to a PC / laptop and use Chrome that works best with eBay,  then cancel their bid ,  and block them from returning too.
