Cancelled Sales

Hi, I am trying to sell my car. I've had the car sold on two occassions but each time the buyer has cancelled for flimsy reasons. Unfortunately every time I relist the car, I am charged another listing fee. Can't Ebay waive further listing fees as the cancellation was not my fault.

Re: Cancelled Sales

You are correct it's not your fault,  but unfortunately,  those listing fees are fixed , mandatory to pay if the vehicle sells or does not sell.

It would be the same if you listed the vehicle in your local paper,  if it didn't sell,  the paper would not refund you,  your advertising fee.

When you relist just add all those listing fees to the starting price of the vehicle,  then when it sells,  you won't be out of pocket.

Were you listing in a Classified ad format?  If not take a peek at the link below, it is a little more expensive but when the vehicle sells there's no seller fee to pay.

Re: Cancelled Sales

Just to add as you listed in auction format you can receive back your seller fees by cancelling the order after 4 days citing Buyer Has Not Paid.  As above the listing fees do have to be paid.

No seller fees to pay if you list in a Classified ad format
