Can't make a private complaint to ebay so I'm going public

This is the email I wanted to send to ebay.

In good faith I bought As they did not fit the Sealey Pegboards I had already bought through ebay. I filed 0.5mm off the centre bar of one of the hooks and it fitted indication that the parts received may not be a Sealey original product and therefore a poor copy. I first tried to give the product a 1 star rating but the ebay system would not let me suggesting I contact which I did including a photo. Conclusion an email today from  saying that I had modified all the hooks (I had only modified one) I could not return the order, further more I now can't rate the product or service. I am very disappointed in both ebay

As a top rated seller you have to wait 7 days to leave bad feedback.

As you altered part of the order you cannot return the order in the condition you received it.

You should have used the ebay money back guarantee the moment you realised that the hooks didn't fit, and returned them all for a refund.  By altering one you have now made that impossible as goods have to be returned in the sale state as purchased. 

Your post will be edited to remove the business name as you can't 'name and shame' on the boards.
