eBay is chasing me for fees for an item that I had to cancel selling because the buyer never paid

I have been trying to navigate the site to get the fees removed but the site is nothing but a roundabout when it comes to queries - can anyone tell me how to get the fees cancelled or how I can speak to an actual person who can get this fixed for me?

Assuming this was from the days when private sellers were charged selling fees, then they should have been credited when you cancelled for non payment.  If they were listing fees they are not credited.

What are the fees for ?

Ebay doesn't usually get their fees wrong.
