Buying from outside the UK

I have made a successful offer for an item and the seller has accepted. The seller will post to many countries including my home address as listed on his page.

The problem arises when I try to pay, the automated page refuses to accept my payment process claiming I need to change my address. 

Could someone suggest where the fault might be, at the sellers or the buyers end.

Message the seller to check their site preferences,  that Guernsey is not on their list for countries they do not post to.

Ask them too,  to put you on their exemption list , hopefully that will work.
