Why on earth do buyers have 4 days to pay after making an offer? This is ridiculous...I am sick of people making offers and then vanishing! Surely Ebay can work out a way to protect against this

Use this link to put a general block on buyers with a history of non-payment, etc.:

tick "Update block settings for active listings" and then save changes at the bottom.
Issue an Unpaid Item cancellation after 4 complete days to end transaction and put a non-payment "strike" on their account. Too many of those and their account will be suspended. More info:https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/getting-paid/resolving-unpaid-items-buyers?id=4137&st=
