Buyer protection

What happens if I ’buy it now’ on a large item that needs to be collected in person (e.g. a sofa) and pay for it via PayPal, but when I go to collect I don’t like it (wrong colour, condition etc). Am I entitled to a refund even if the seller states they do not accept returns in their listing?

Re: Buyer protection

If the item was not described correctly but seller refuses to cancel/refund you would still be able to open a "not as described" return on ebay to get your money back.

If it is as described the seller won't have to accept the return.    If you're unsure about whether it will fit, etc. confirm with the seller first that they will agree to cancel.

Re: Buyer protection

When you buy a collection item it needs to be paid through eBay checkout you will then be given a collection code,if the goods don't meet your expectations don't give the seller the code just ask them to cancel which they should do,if they wont cancel open a claim for item not received to get your refund.
