Buyer protection fee

Why has buyer protection fee turned into a seller fee as virtually all of my recent offers have been with the protection fee deducted? Also the ebay site has beome much more difficult since they upgraded their Microsoft. I had to buy a new tablet as my old one would not upgrade and I really dislike the new format.

As a seller if you make watchers an offer,BP will be added on top, buyers see total.

If buyer makes you an offer, you get amount after BP.

Nothing to do with your question, but the items you are selling as carpet bowls are in fact decorative floating ceramic spheres. They won't survive for long if the buyer tries to use them as carpet bowls!

The hole in the bottom was probably to prevent bursting during firing, but won't affect, their ability to float.
