Buyer protection Fee - Just Spin

EBay tell us sellers that it is free to sell. But of course it isn’t. It doesn’t matter who pays the fee, it still affects the final price. So to be competitive, I have to reduce the amount I charge for my items for sale. So in effect I am being charged.  I actually don’t mind paying a fee, I just wish eBay would be a little more honest and not tell me it is free to sell.

Easily solved.

All those new items you should upgrade to business account.

Buyer premium won't apply then.

It is free to sell for the seller. If your price is £10 that is what you receive, it is the buyer who is being conned into paying for exactly what he got for free.

Unfortunately for private sellers sales have fallen off a cliff, and even paying for the promotions, which of course means selling is not free, but the results are still pathetic, with no evidence to prove that the promotion has anything to do with any sales made.

I guess that is one solution. But I am just selling off a few things before I move. So not really sure it is economical viable to pay for a business account.  But I could consider it I suppose
