If a buyer asks for a cancellation, although frustrating I agree, but in my humble opinion , it's best to cancel and fully refund citing ' Buyer requests to Cancel' as the reason, this way your seller performance is not affected. Sending it you stand a high chance of the item being damaged , and a claim for item not as described to be issued to you. Not worth the risk in posting.
If you paid for a Simple delivery postage then,
- If you selected 'Buyer pays’ when you created the listing, your buyer will automatically be refunded for any Simple Delivery label that isn’t used after 30 days
- If you selected ‘Seller pays’ and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.
If you paid for this postage from Royal Mail online and not used Simple delivery, you'll have to go to RM website to claim back for the unused postage, not sure of this process , or if possible sorry.
